An oasis of tranquillity, good wine and traditions amidst the hills of the Langhe.
At first there was just “granda Giovanni”, who planted the dolcetto and barbera vineyards with skill and passion, tending them for the lifetime he spent working the land he had loved since he was a child.
Then, with the inevitable passing of time, the farm was taken over by his son, Diego, and grandsons Luca and Dario.
Vineyards growing nebbiolo and chardonnay were added, and today no fewer than 6 hectares (15 acres) of these prized Langhe hillsides are planted with vines.
Finally - as recently as 2002 - came the idea to start vinifying their own grapes. The result was the “Cantina Cá Brusá”: large, comfortable premises where the entire harvest is vinified following traditional methods, backed by everything modern technology has to offer.
Alongside the wine-making area lies the bottling department, while the last section is given over to the storage of wines and their ageing, which often takes place in barriques. |
